Engineers of the company assembled and manufactured their bikes in Pakistan and became increasingly popular in the 1990s, to 2000s with consistent quality for consumers by competing with other companies entering the market. After facing various operational challenges the partnership ended in 2008s and Yamaha terminated the contract with Dawood Group. The Japanese company reentered the Pakistani market in 2013 and officially launched in 2015 as Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd.
